my weekend was totally a blast!
(except than playing mahjong for 3 consecutive nights)
i attended lianie baby's birthday party, went shopping with miumiu,
and had a photoshoot with the coolest people
and got to meet ever gorgeous swyn again!

miumiu and i took this when we went shopping on friday night!
before we went YZ's house for mahjong again.
hahahaha.
we're serious gamblers.

miumiu looks older and more tired after he started work.

that is how horribly stress can drive you mad.

saturday night was a blast!
lianie baby had a crazy birthday celebration at NSRCC.
the theme was flamboyant
and all the peeps there looked colourful.
hahahaha.

i went town before heading over to the party.
so... i thought i shouldn't be too insanely dressed.
(before i attract the wrong attention on orchard road)

i wore pretty plum coloured stockings with my LBD!
and miumiu darling donned my stripped slim scarf,
looking uber hip!

we played with one of the pressies we wanted to give lianie.

my family and i went to the Army Open House on saturday.

as i have always said, i ♥ family outings!
這次也不例外!

we had lunch at Jurong Point before catching the shuttle in to Pasir Laba camp.
it was indeed an eye opening experience.
seeing the kind of environment dadamiu works in.
and it was an eye opening experience for my pretty cousin raylene too,
to check out boys.
right lene? the mister 2moles.
(inside joke)

the boys having their faces painted in camou cream for the first time.
and they will definitely be seeing those stuff on their faces again in future!
hahahaha.


my brother look like a watermelon.
the quite juicy kind somemore.

miumiu joined us for the slightest moment.

he has to be at work for such long hours!
i'm so glad for him though, that the whoe AOH has finally come to an end now!

raylene and i sneaked into the male toilets and took pictures too.

i got no idea why they've got urinals in the ladies as well.
they look too big for kids.

we assume the standard pose of boys peeing is with their hands on their waist.

with the help of one of the uncle soldiers there,
i managed to get a wheelchair for granny.

we got like hell alot of "special privileges"

firstly, granny won't have to be on her feet because the trail aruond the camp
is kinda bumpy and sometimes muddy.
LONG too!

and we even got two "tour guides" / "personal assistants"

they were really really REALLY helpful throughout our trip there.
helped us with the wheelchair, played with the kids as well.
(okay, actually it's the kids who disturbed them)
and explained the things we see around the camp.

okay, ANYWAY
that day i was in school and i heard from kevin that the 校花校草 thing is on.
so i wanted to go and watch nosebleeding FIONA XIE!
and when i got there, i realised that
LLOYD IS IN THE COMPETITION!!!!
woooooooots!
so we got a good spot just as the show started.
but in the end i don't know what happened,
some random person from the film crew came to drag me away
and psycho me to join the competition.
i don't know what happened to the third contestant.
and i don't know what exactly happened.
but when i told lloyd that i was in the competition too,
he was like damm thrilled to have company.

so yea....

and lloyd and i won the thingy.

it was like super random.

dadamiu wasn't too happy about it though.
and actually, i myself am not quite sure as to whether i should stay.
it is a fact that i have had a lot of experiences with other competitions
and more than enough exposure and fun with such things.
and joining this and that again is gonna make me look like a wannabe
and perhaps take up some of my studying time.

but my family looks super thrilled about it.
saying that it is my final year in school.
and i'm most probably not gonna have time for such things in future
after i start working.
which is true, as well.

i also don't know what to do now.
but i'm really glad that even if miumiu is not too happy with it,
he gave me the freedom to make the final choice.

at times, you would feel like that man is the one you want to marry.
and at other times, you wished you hadn't meet him.

i'm sure you have heard this analogy many many times:-
you put a black dot on a piece of paper and ask others what they see,
everyone would surely say a black dot,
not that other parts of paper which is still clean.

it is just like how a flaw would always find a way to amplify itself,
and make us forget about all the other reasons to pardon that small mistake.

a friend of mine had a bad tiff with his girlfriend and he came to me for advice.
i could see that he was really upset about it as well.
and it reminded me of the times when was at loggerheads with miumiu.
at that point of time when all that rage unfurls within you,
all the goodness in the relationship would somehow cease to exist.
but fortunately, we have learnt to step back
and rethink about how different things are going to be if we give up on this relationship.

i have given up on our relationship before.
and i believe there were certain points of time when miumiu did as well.
i seriously thought i'm gonna be better off without him.
but as i look at the old pictures we took together,
when i hear that familiar tune we use to hum together,
or when everything around me seems to remind me of him,
it will all come surging back to me.
forcing me to admit that i wouldn't be as happy without him.
and i'm glad i gave in and continued with my journey with him.

there are times when you would feel like giving up.
i don't know if my friend's girlfriend would read this blog entry.
but if you are also caught in this same situation and you feel like giving up,
ask yourself -
who is the first person you wanna text when you wake up?
and when something big happens, who is the first one you want to inform?
it is easy to give up.
but why would you wanna give up when it just takes something much simpler
such as compromising and accepting.
and it will definitely make your relationship a stronger one.

i haven't been to school for the last 3 days of this week.
other than monday which is a free day for me,
i haven't been a good student at all.
but well, tuesday is my anniversary with dada miu.

i was in zouk on wednesday night for NUS temasek hall's pageant bash judging.
it was quite an eye opener for me i'd say.
sitting in the judge's seat and seeing it from a judge's view is fresh and new to me.
the peeps from temasek hall were sporting and fun loving!
great experience i'd say.
